Sophie

Introducing the newest member of our pack...Queen Sophie and yes she is reigning here in the palace. We all adore her treat her as if she is royalty.

After almost 2 years of begging, pleading and arguing her case Grace finally had success in convincing her dad of our need for a family pet. We knew a dog was out of the question due to the fact that dogs in CO are just too high maintenance especially labs and retrievers which is what we would have wanted and even though I absolutely love dogs I certainly didn't want to be out in the snow and freezing cold temps taking him or her for a walk so a cat it was. I did lots of research and found a breed that is as affectionate and loyal as a dog and are known for their "flop factor" meaning that they go limp like a rag doll as soon as you pick them hence their name rag doll cats. We lucked out and found a breeder who is not too far away from our home and chose a "waiting kitten" from her website. We brought her home in October and you would think that she has been with us forever. She is so sweet and cuddly and most of the time you can find her cuddled up on her little cushy bed in Mike's office. She sleeps with the girls and she even tolerates Joshua in all of his glory.
