Fall at the Beach!

I LOVE the Beach! The salt air, the warm breezes, sand between my toes, the smell and the incredible sound of the waves crashing. It is one of the things I miss most about FL. When Mike and I were dating we spent many evenings walking and talking on Cocoa Beach, in fact he asked me to marry him on the beach. We haven't had the opportunity to get back to FL as a family and enjoy the beach so when we began planning a Fall Trip to LA we were over the top with excitement when some new friends offered to allow our pack to stay in their fabulous Manhattan Beach house and what a treat it was to spend the week in such luxurious accomodations. We hit all the sites around LA, made college visits with Cody to Azusa Pacific and Biola, watched sunrises and sunsets over the Pacific and had the opportunity to enjoy The Bassali Family. Mike and Grace met Emad and his daughter Michelle on a daddy/daughter camping trip with Focus on the Family in August and both became fast friends so when we planned this trip to LA we were thrilled to have the chance to spend time with the rest of their family and soaked in their love and hospitality. Here are quite a few photos of our time on the West Coast.

These are photo's of our time on Manhattan Beach....it is a quaint little California Beach town. Cute shops and resturants and gorgegous homes. I had a blast walking on the beach just checking out all the homes.

Beach time!

Disneyland....it was a record hot day...lines were long and doing Disney with 4 kiddos is enough to wear a mama and daddy out.

Photo's of our visit to Azusa Pacific...what a great college. Cody and Mike got a tour of the film school and while they were checking out the movie editing classrooms the littles and I hung out in the courtyard mingling with the students.

Lego Land

I uploaded my photo's out of order so the next few are of us at the beach house with the Bassali Family

Mike and Emad....I love their smiles.
These two are like peas in a pod.
