He Lives!

I serve a risen Savior He's in the world today, I know that He is living whatever men may say.
I see His hand of mercy, I hear his voice of cheer, and just the time I need Him he's always near.
He lives, He lives, Christ Jesus lives today!
He walks with me and talks with me along life's narrow way
He lives, He lives, salvation to impart!
You ask me how I know He lives, He lives within my Heart!
I was blessed to be born to parents who loved the Lord and gave me the opportunity to know of His great love for me at a very young age. I received this amazing love into my life when I was 5 years old and now for 36 years My Lord has walked with me and talked with me along life's way. How great is the God who has tenderly guided me throughout my childhood, my teenage years, becoming a wife and mom and He continues to stay right with me even when I let go and venture out on my own. His sacrifice was great. He absorbed every sin that had ever been committed and would ever be committed by all of humanity and sacrificed Himself so that we didn't have to bear the consequences of that sin that separates us from Him and because of that I can walk and talk with Him every minute of every day. Oh how I forget what a privilege it is to approach my Savior. I am ashamed that I take it for granted. Easter is a time of celebration but it can also be a time of reflection and renewal. Oh that I will not let the fact that HE SUFFERED AND DIED for me leave the fore-front of my mind. May I approach His throne of grace with reverence, awe and extreme gratitude for what He did for me. "Oh happy day....my sins are washed away".
Easter with my family.
We attended church on Saturday so we spent Easter Sunday at home. We enjoyed an "out of the ordinary" breakfast and some relaxing time. Grace helped set the table and we had Sunday lunch of roasted leg of lamb, potatoes, green beans, carrot raisin salad and coconut cream pie for dessert. It was a special time of just being together and focusing on the beauty of Resurrection Sunday.

Easter dresses, crocs and bubble guns what a combo.
I love this one.

Our table compliments of Grace (I helped a little)
