Why Six?

I realize that some of you who might be new to our blog might wonder as you see our family picture why I have titled our blog "Emily Makes Six" when there is only 5 in our picture. As I mentioned in my profile, my husband and I have the extreme honor and blessing to be parents to Cody, Connor, Grace and Emily. Our second born son made his journey to Heaven 4 years ago when he was 3 1/2 years old. Connor was an absolute joy and each day that I spent with him while he was here on earth was full of love and happiness and I look forward to one day sharing Heaven with my Lord and my precious son.

Welcome to my first post on our new blog. Many of you followed our Journey to Yi Tao now Emily Hope on our BabyJellyBeans website and I am delighted to have you join us as we continue on this exciting adventure of life with our three terrific children. I decided to switch to a "blog type" site in order to have the opportunity to journal more frequently and now that we have settled into life as a family of six I thought that this type of posting was not only easier but more appropriate.
